A long A-line coat cut from 100% polyester and filled with 100% certified RDS white down, built for the part of winter when lighter insulation stops coping. The down blocks cold wind and holds a stable layer of warm air against the body, and the RDS certification means it is traceable to farms audited for animal welfare rather than sourced anonymously. Certification like that is worth knowing about on a coat you intend to keep for years rather than replace each season.
The A-line shape skims the waist and flares gently towards the hem, which flatters without clinging and leaves room for knitwear underneath. A windproof zipper with an orange PU pull and contrast colour panels add character to what is otherwise a clean silhouette, and the hem and back have been simplified over earlier versions, dropping the end-edge drawstring and rear reflective strip.
Practical pockets carry the essentials and keep hands warm on the move, so it works for hiking and skiing as readily as an ordinary city day.
