Inspired by Matthew 14:25–27, I created this artwork as a reminder that even in the middle of the storm, Jesus is closer than we sometimes realize.
There are seasons when life feels uncertain, the waves keep coming, and it’s easy to let fear or everything happening around us take our attention. But just like the disciples that night, we can look toward Jesus and remember that He is right there with us, even in the middle of what scares us.
The storm may still be around you, but you don’t have to face it alone. He sees what you are going through, He is not afraid of the waves, and His presence can bring peace even before the storm is over.
I hope this artwork reminds you, especially during the harder seasons, to take your eyes off the fear for a moment and put them back on Him. Whatever waves you are facing, keep your eyes on Jesus and trust that He is there with you through it all.
