A good modular sectional does most of its work quietly, and the Aspen 5-Seat Modular Sectional in Sagano Green is built for exactly that. It is made from kiln-dried solid pine and rubberwood, engineered hardwood, poly-fiber, high-resilience foam, hypoallergenic down alternative, steel hardware, so the substance sits in the material rather than the styling. It was drawn with open-plan living rooms and media rooms in mind, though it rarely looks out of place elsewhere. The proportions were settled before the styling, which is usually the right order. It arrives ready to use, with no fiddly setup between you and the point of it.
Day to day, what you notice is not the piece so much as what it does to the space around it. The lines are restrained enough to sit against almost any palette without competing with it. It also sits well beside the rest of the Northern Fashions range. It is the kind of thing you stop noticing after a fortnight, which is the point.
We check each one over before it ships, from the finish through to the fittings. Natural materials vary a little from piece to piece; that variation is part of the product rather than a fault in it. Dust with a dry cloth, avoid solvents, and keep it out of prolonged direct sun. For safety, keep the modules level and joined as supplied, and do not exceed the stated weight capacity per seat.
