The Abigail Coffee Table, Oat on Oak is a handmade coffee table in solid oak finished in a pale oat tone. The surface is finished to take cups, books and everyday traffic.
The lightest finish in the range. Solid oak, made to order. Hand-sanded with a protective topcoat. Keeps small rooms feeling open. Because each piece is made to order in solid material, the grain, colour and figure differ from one table to the next, and small variations are part of the result rather than a fault in it. Every piece in this part of the range is checked before it leaves us, and anything that does not meet the standard does not ship. If you are pulling a room together rather than buying a single item, it sits comfortably alongside the rest of the collection. We would rather sell one piece that lasts a decade than three that do not. Questions about sizing, finish or fit are worth asking before ordering, and we would rather answer them first than after delivery.
It is a year-round piece rather than a seasonal one, and it holds its place in a room through every month. Use trivets and mats under hot cookware, wipe spills up promptly, and avoid dragging the table when moving it. Part of the Levena home collection.
