Built around an engineered-wood frame, the Ellis Chair + Ottoman balances presence with restraint. Nothing about the silhouette shouts; the interest sits in the joinery, the taper of the supports and the way the surfaces catch light. There is a slight give where you want it and none where you do not, which is what keeps a simple form from feeling austere.
