The Aspen 3-Seat Modular Sectional in Sagano Green earns its place through proportion rather than volume. The kiln-dried solid pine and rubberwood, engineered hardwood, poly-fiber, high-resilience foam, hypoallergenic down alternative, steel hardware construction is what carries it: honest materials, plainly handled. It was drawn with open-plan living rooms and media rooms in mind, though it rarely looks out of place elsewhere. Nothing here is decorative for its own sake; every part of it has a job. The proportions were settled before the styling, which is usually the right order.
In use, the appeal is how little it asks of you. It is deliberately quiet in styling, which is what keeps it from dating. It also sits well beside the rest of the Northern Fashions range. It is the kind of thing you stop noticing after a fortnight, which is the point.
Each unit is inspected before dispatch, with particular attention to the finish and the joins. Because the materials are natural, colour and pattern shift slightly between units.
