The Aleyna Table Lamp was designed for the hours after the overhead light goes off. The silhouette is clean enough to disappear into a room and considered enough to hold its own on an empty surface. It was drawn with hallway sideboards and entry tables in mind, though it rarely looks out of place anywhere. It suits a room being furnished slowly, where each piece has to hold its own.
In use, the appeal is the quality of the light rather than the brightness of it. A single warm source at table height reads as far more comfortable than a ceiling fitting doing the same job, and it makes an evening room feel considerably smaller and warmer than it is.
