Wipe the surfaces with a dry or barely damp cloth and keep the lamp on a level, stable surface away from the edge. Always isolate the lamp at the socket before fitting or removing a bulb.

Glaze settles differently in the kiln every time, so no two bases finish identically.
Warm Light On Glaze
Lit from above, the glaze catches the light and gives the base a soft sheen all evening.
Glaze moves as it fires, so each base finishes with small differences. That variation is the mark of a genuinely glazed piece.
