We check each one over before it ships, from the finish through to the fittings. Because the materials are natural, colour and grain shift slightly between units; that variation is part of the product rather than a fault in it. Rinse with fresh water, dry with a soft cloth, and cover or store the cushions out of season. Buying once and buying properly tends to work out cheaper than replacing something twice.
