The Ojai Teak Swivel Lounge Chair is a swivel lounge chair made to be used rather than admired from the doorway. Built in premium Indonesian teak with Sunbrella cushions, it is put together to last longer than the season it arrives in. It is at home in terraces and decks with a view worth turning towards, and does not demand a particular style of interior to work. The proportions were settled before the styling, which is usually the right order.
Small details — the edges, the joins, the underside — were given the same attention as the front. The lines are restrained enough to sit against almost any palette without competing with it. Nothing here is decorative for its own sake; every part of it has a job. It sits well beside the rest of the Northern Fashions range if you are furnishing a room one piece at a time.
We check each one over before it ships, from the finish through to the fittings. Because the materials are natural, colour and grain shift slightly between units; that variation is part of the product rather than a fault in it. Rinse with fresh water, dry with a soft cloth, and cover or store the cushions out of season. Buying once and buying properly tends to work out cheaper than replacing something twice.
